Douglas County School District
The Business Services Department manages all bidding processes for Douglas County School District to ensure compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes concerning Public Agencies and Purchasing. Business Services utilizes different processes for bidding depending on the need of the project being bid. Those processes include Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), as well as the issuance of Bid Packages for larger projects such as Public Works Construction Projects.

To be included in the solicitation for bid opportunities, please complete the Vendor Information Form. The Vendor Information Form will be used to continually update the DCSD Prospective Bidders' List which will be categorized by the type of services offered. Once the form is completed, please fax DCSD at 775-782-3162 along with a completed, current W-9, and your information will be added to the Prospective Bidders' List. Once a vendor has been added to the Prospective Bidders List, any bid opportunities that may arise will be forwarded to the vendors with appropriate category listings.

CVMS MAJOR REPAIRS AND RENOVATIONS - Major repairs and renovations at Carson Valley Middle School ("CVMS") may include, but are not limited to, Single Point of Entry/Reconfiguration of Administrative Offices and Counselor's Area, Reconfiguration of Traffic Flow, Asphalt Paving Rehabilitation, Security Fencing and Exterior Security Lighting, Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Replacement and Code Update, Main Electrical Service Update, Network Rewiring, Repairing sections of Gym Floor, room(s) reconfiguration and access for ADA compliance, and Installation of Domestic Backflow. Owner will be responsible for Hazardous Materials Testing and Abatement, and currently anticipates that both testing and any subsequent required abatement of hazardous materials will be completed prior to construction.
