Meals for Distance Learning Days

Students on a hybrid learning schedule who are at school every other day are still able to get school meals (both breakfast and lunch) for their distance learning days at home.

How does this work for Elementary Students? On the days your student is on campus for school they can sign up and pick up meals to take home for the following day. Your students teacher will ask if anybody wants take home breakfast and lunch for tomorrow, give that information to the kitchen, who will then make the meals. At the end of the day the teacher will give the students who signed up their meals to take home for the next day. The following day the kitchen will charge the students meal account. They will only charge the students who actually took their meals home. If they signed up and forgot, they will not be charged.

How does this work for Secondary Students? On the days your student is on campus for school they can sign up and pick up meals to take home for the following day. They can sign up and choose their lunch option by using the form for their school. The kitchen get's their form, makes their meals, and the students will pick them up from the cafeteria at the end of the day on their way to the bus.

Are these meals free? No, not unless your student qualifies for Free breakfast and lunch. You student may qualify for free or reduced price meals. You can apply for the Free and Reduced Price meal program. The easiest and fastest way to apply is through Infinite Campus. Paper applications can be picked up from your schools office or downloaded from our website. Normal meal prices apply for to-go meals being served to students for their distance days.
